Hello family and Happy Holidays from the Andy/Teresa household!
Saturday night, Teresa and I went to see the LA Philharmonic. We saw Marin Alsop conduct a beautiful all-Brahms program. Unfortunately, we suspect T had a run-in with Norovirus or E. Coli or something food-borne. Keeping with the theme of virulent strains of something-or-other, I spent my Sunday afternoon watching Will Smith in I Am Legend, a post-apocalyptic movie about the mostly-solitary adventures of a military biomedical researcher after a genetically modified strain of the measles decimates the human population--around Christmas time, no less--leaving a small fraction mutated in to crazed zombie-types. This leaves Will Smith to save the planet...guess we should consider ourselves lucky.
This week, T is in San Francisco attending the Fall meeting of the American Geophysical Union and I am continuing a small(er) optics project in support of a subsequent small proposal.
More later, maybe with pictures and definitely with lots of love!
